Asking Alexandria update

Metalcore staple Asking Alexandria have been through a far few shake ups over the past few years , experiencing everything from scandals to major line-up changes, it hasn’t exactly been plain sailing for the boys; even now as they celebrate 10 years of the band’s existence it looks as if they’re in for another major switch up.

Following confirmation from Ben Bruce in a statement on his Facebook page, it became official that AA’s lead singer Denis Stof had left the band.

The leave came with no warning to fans and even the band themselves after what was stated as ‘months of no contact ‘ with the singer; leaving the band uncertain of its future with their vocalist suddenly silent.

“To cut a long story short, we didn’t kick Denis out of the band. He just stopped talking to us.”

However, in what is an even stranger turn of events ex lead singer Danny Worsnop, who left the band to pursue his own musical ventures (hard rock band ‘We are Harlot’) and because of the bad blood between himself and other members is returning, to the delight of many fans.

Danny wasted no time reclaiming his position as front man, joining the band on stage for a performance just 3 days later, kicking off the start of their ’10 Years in the Black’ tour in Seattle. (still editing this paragraph) There was some worry as to the logistics of the singer return (played no songs off the black)

Keen to get back into the swing of things the band are already said to be recording new material with the recently returned/ veteran Asking Alexandria singer Danny Worsnop.

Danny has since released new single and video ‘Mexico’, a country song from his solo project.
